FAQ's
Are all crime reports investigated by a detective?
No. Patrol supervisors review and determine which cases are assigned to the Investigations Division. Detective supervisors then review the cases and assign them to detectives to be investigated. Whether a case is assigned to a detective or not is based on the type of crime and evidentiary solvability factors. However, all crime reports are reviewed by supervisors.
